Angel City FC Announces Yaamava’ As The Team’s Official Casino Partner
ACFC and Yaamava’ Join Forces to Promote Youth Soccer in Los Angeles.
LOS ANGELES (November 16, 2021) ‒ Today, Angel City Football Club (ACFC) announced
Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel as the team’s official casino partner. With this
sponsorship, Yaamava’ and ACFC will support the youth of the Inland Empire region of Southern
California through a series of soccer camps that will help promote physical activity and education.
“Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel is delighted to announce our partnership with Angel
City Football Club,” said Rikki Tanenbaum, Chief Operating Officer for the San Manuel Band of
Mission Indians. “The Tribe partners with organizations that share its values, and ACFC’s mission
to strengthen our Southern California communities through the empowerment of youth and
greater inclusivity is one that resonates with us deeply.”
"Our partnership with Yaamava' is a long-anticipated announcement, and we are proud to
welcome them as a founding partner,” said ACFC Head of Revenue Jessica Smith. “Our goal at
Angel City is to make an impact that spreads far and wide across the vast region within and
adjacent to Los Angeles. With Yaamava', we are expanding our footprint of community impact to
the Inland Empire, starting with our one-of-a-kind youth clinics.”
Because of our shared values and commitment to strengthening our communities, Yaamava’ and
ACFC will activate the Angel City Sponsorship Model, structured for every team partner to make a
charitable impact in the Inland Empire. In addition to the camps, our collective impact will include
hosting a local Inland Empire Youth Team to an ACFC VIP game experience starting in the club’s
inaugural 2022 season.
ACFC’s community coaches will run a soccer clinic for 150 youth players, ages 7-14, in San
Bernardino. With a focus on the local schools in which most children qualify for free or reduced
lunches, ACFC and Yaamava’ will deliver a unique combination of soccer training and personal
development for all participants. In addition to the clinic itself, ACFC will donate new soccer
equipment, including balls and pinnies, to a local sports program.
