Yaamava’ Announces David Kopasz As COO Of Hospitality

AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF HOSPITALITY

Highland, Calif. (April 22, 2019) –– Yaamava’ Resort & Casino announced today that David Kopasz has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Hospitality at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino. In this role, Kopasz will oversee all aspects of hospitality at the Casino.

Since joining the Casino in 2015, Kopasz has served as Vice President of Food and Beverage, and has helped transform Yaamava’ Resort & Casino into a top dining destination within the Inland Empire. Having developed and overseen the execution of the Casino’s casual and fine dining strategy - powered by a third of the Casino’s workforce - he has tripled the growth of restaurant, bar and lounge seating and has substantially increased revenue for the Food and Beverage department. As Chief Operating Officer of Hospitality, Kopasz will be responsible for overseeing the hospitality division and implementing growth strategies aimed to take the Casino to new heights.

Prior to joining Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, Kopasz spent 12 years as Vice President of Food and Beverage at Seneca Resorts & Casinos. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Systems Management from Buffalo State College of New York, and an Associates of Applied Science in Food Service & Restaurant Management from Erie Community College. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
